ABOUT Me
Born and raised in Michigan, my career took me to Washington, DC. in the early 1980s. There I traveled extensively and became interested in photography, recording sights and wildlife on film. I've been fortunate enough to shoot from Alaska to San Diego to the Florida Keys to New Brunswick, Canada and a whole lot of places in between.
Now, a half century later, I'm retired, dividing my time between North Carolina's Outer Banks and Florida's Gulf Coast with my life partner, best friend and photographic collaborator, Valerie.

This website affords me the opportunity to share some of my favorite photos. A few date back to my film photography days. Most were taken on DSLR cameras. When the Pandemic hit, I did very little shooting. But, I've recently switched to mirrorless camera equipment, am reinvigorated, and always looking for new subjects to photograph.
I've been updating my website, adding new photos, removing some of my least favorites and including more descriptive information. Check out this evolving site from time to time and, hopefully enjoy my photos as much as I did creating them.
