ABOUT Me
After a career in Michigan and Washington, DC, I call North Carolina's Outer banks home and spend part of the winter season on Florida's Gulf coast.
I have a lifelong interest in photography been fortunate to shoot throughout much of the U.S. While my life partner and photographic collaborator, Valerie and I don't travel as much as in the past, our love of the land, waters and creatures that inhabat them is undiminished.
I still take advantage of the plethora of wildlife photo ops in Eastern North Carolina and Florida's Tampa Bay and northeast coasts as frequently as possible.
That includes shooting with my son, Andrew, a professional real estate photographer and videographer whenever our schedules permit.. Check out his work on Instagram at "goodnightannarbor."
I developed this website a decade or so ago to share some of my favorite photos with family and a handful of friends.. Then, along came COVID and the site has remained dormant.
Now in 2025 I'm back at it, adding new photos, removing some of my least favorites and including more descriptive information. Most of my new material is in the Wildlife section, as I've not been traveling much.
I'll continue to update this site from time to time, so check back occasionally to see what I may have added. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I did creating them. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments.
